Every aspect of our instruction and guiding is built upon high standards of safety and accomplishment, and stresses an intelligent approach, which tremendously enhances any experience. From the logistical side, climbing requires a mastery of various techniques, applications of safe methodology, creative problem-solving, and as much actual climbing time as possible. Indoor gym climbing is great exercise and lots of fun, but is in no way related to actual outdoor climbing on rock requiring knowledge of protection techniques, anchor building, safety systems, anticipation of dangerous situations, accident avoidance, etc. Indoor climbing is no substitute for real climbing – it is super exercise that can elevate your climbing ability, build strength and train the body. The first thing you will learn in any MNGS Climbing session outdoors is how to stay safe when engaged in this fantastic activity, and keep enjoying it for years using an intelligent approach. It is important to consider a person’s climbing goals during these sessions.
